Monday Night Bible Study
This group meets at the home of the Morris family on Monday nights at 6 pm. They study the Bible Together, pray together, and encourage one another. This is a great group to try! For more info, contact Russ Morris at sueinqatar@yahoo.com.
United Methodist Women
Our Purpose
The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
 
Being a member of The United Methodist Church is not required nor is there any minimum age requirement. Out of a commitment for mission locally and globally with women, children and youth, United Methodist Women choose to participate in meetings, prayer, financial giving, study, action and service.

Asbury United Methodist Women

The Asbury UMW as a whole meets monthly, either the 1st Tuesday @ 10am, or 1st Saturday @ 10am.  Educational as well as informative Programs are conducted at these meetings.  For more information contact Susan Warner 713-557-9310.

Blankets and Blessings
Blankets & Blessings’ ministry is crocheting lap blankets for patients in hospice care. They meet at a member’s home on the 2nd & 4th Sunday afternoons from 4:30 – 6:30 pm to share fellowship and encouragement while crocheting lap blankets. All skill levels are welcome. So if you are a yeoman with yarn or skilled with a skein you are welcome to join this group and get “hooked” on Blankets and Blessings!

Reader’s Group

Soul Sisters
Calling all women interested in fun, faith, and fellowship! This group meets at the home of Sue Morris on the 4th Tuesday of the month at 6:30 pm. Come join them!

Drawing Closer to God – Bible Journaling (Women ages 20’s-40’s)
Meeting the 2nd Saturday of each month from 9:00-11:00AM, this women’s ministry is designed especially for women in earlier stages of life.  It is a mixture of community, Bible Study through art and journaling, laughter, worship and growth. You do NOT be a fantastic artist (seriously)! All you need is to have a heart to learn more about God through an artistic medium. You can journal in your Bible on blank paper a bound journal or whatever you feel comfortable using!
