Worship Services

You are invited to WORSHIP with us each Sunday!
Psalm 150:6 says- ‘Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord!’
Here at Asbury UMC you will find that all of our Sunday worship hours will usher you into the presence of God through authentic worship, relevant messages and engaging relationships.
Worship is a time of celebration, fellowship, fellowship and learning. Each service centers around the presentation of God’s Word. Our Pastor is Rev. Lindsay Kirkpatrick. Pastor Lindsay shares the life-changing message of the Bible in a clear, practical and relevant way.
Our worship has elements of music and technology that are used to inspire and draw you closer to the Lord. Depending on the service you attend, you will see a choir or full contemporary praise band with a team of singers onstage.
Throughout the service, you are welcome to join in or sit back and observe — however you feel most comfortable. The dress is casual and varied so come as you are.
We celebrate open communion, meaning that all persons are welcome at the table. Communion is served at all services on the first Sunday of each month. Gluten-free bread is available.

Many of us grew up in church and fell in love with thchoire hymns of the faith that have been passed down through the generations. We enjoy the liturgy and the prayers of the church that go back hundreds of years. Our Chancel Choir leads us each week in this well-known, well-loved style of worship using the organ and piano, and the occasional violin or flute.
Again, the messages are timeless messages that often use modern means of communication. The goal remains the same – to give you a word from God that you can take with you into the week – something real and tangible that will strengthen your faith.
The term “Contemporary” can meet a lot of different things to a lot of
different people. For us it means having our exciting praise band leading us in high-energy, engaging music using guitars, keyboards, drums, flute, and brass instruments.
The message each Sunday may include video, drama, and testimonies to help communicate how God longs to give us a life where we feel at peace, where we feel strong, and where we can grow closer to Him. Our goal is to give you something on Sunday that you can take with you into your week – something real and tangible that will strengthen your faith.
